## About

The About window contains connection, copyright, and license information.

In the [Main Menu](/content/manual/mainmenu.html), click Help, About.

The current Open Dental version and the date of the update show at the top.

**Current Connection**:

- **Client or Remote Application Machine Name**: The name of the client machine or the remote application machine.
- **Server Name**: The name of the Open Dental server.
- **Database Name**: The name of the currently selected Open Dental database.
- **Service Name**: The name of the MySQL or MariaDB service.
- **Service Version**: The version of MySQL or MariaDB that is installed.
- **Service Comment**: Informational comments about the MySQL or MariaDB version.
